Physical Chemistry of Colloids, Polymers and Biological Molecules

The central theme of our research is to understand and control the behavior of biological macromolecules, synthetic polymers and colloidal particles in complex aqueous media. Current research efforts focus on understanding the formation and evolution of macromolecule-rich condensed phases in multicomponent aqueous solutions and on how salt and osmolyte gradients can induce particle migration in water.
